Landscaping is said to
increase home value by as much as 20 percent!
Overgrown and visual clutter doesn't sell - rethink
the gnome family. Yellow draws attention and evokes a
buying emotion. Curb appeal is said to be a "15
second" decision! |

Remember basics:
Edge, mow, rake, trim, fertilize, mulch and water.

What are the
best mowing levels for the various grasses
again? My son has a lawn mowing business and
he wants to get it right. Mow St.
Augustine grass at three – four inches tall
for best performance. Bermuda grass should be
mowed at the lowest level possible on the
mower, usually 1.5 inches. Mow zoysia grass at
two inches, and buffalo grass at five inches
or taller. |

such a mess. When I sweep them up are they good for
anything? Yes, they are loaded with nutrients such
as nitrogen and they decompose quickly. Put them in
the compost pile or in the garden as a mulch.

have been testing and introducing new plants
that thrive with very little water.
